This was around 2006-2009ish, aka late elementary early middle school days—and in hindsight, I shouldn't have been on the internet at such a young age. However, I think it has taught me a lot of what I know now.  01  I am mostly canon compliant while also mildly canon divergent, in terms of personal interpretations and headcanons, which are quite minor in the grand scheme of things. 02  There MAY be suggestive themes, or even NSFW, on my page. If you are a minor, do not DM me, as mun and muse are 18+. If I find out that you are a minor, you will be blocked. No exceptions. 03  Communicate with me, please. Do not stew in silence if something is bothering you, nor hesitate to ask any questions if you have concerns about any scenarios, even if you just need clarification!  07  In continuation to the rule above I am 100% okay with having multiple RP partners, and 100% okay with said RP partners having multiples of their own. When it comes to romance, though, if you would like our characters to do polyamory, I do not mind as long as there’s proper communication. On the topic of romance, if you have multiple verses, then it’s absolutely okay to have separate relationships in those verses. (i.e, my muse and your muse are a pair in one AU, but in a different AU, your muse is with someone else.) Even if your character has other relationships in the same verse my muse is in a relationship with yours, then that’s fine. They can be kept technically separate, I don’t mind at all. 08  In-character DOES NOT translate to out-of-character. If the character I am roleplaying as has an issue with yours, that doesn’t mean that I myself also have an issue with you. 09  At the end of the day, RP is a hobby for me. It is not my life, nor will it ever be my life. If a thread has been dropped by me, please feel free to poke at me and ask for a reply; but if I am harassed or pestered FREQUENTLY for one despite me giving a response that I will reply soon, I will block you. The only instance in where it’s fine to poke me again is if I say that I will reply soon, yet a few days have passed, or a week, and I have yet to do so.

Important Notes

  001   Osi'ra is intersex. While this is not something that will be frequently brought up, it is still an integral piece of her. Considering he toes the line between appearing as "masculine" or "feminine", this poses a deal of difficulties for her when it comes to Keeper culture, a mainly matriarchal sub-race. They have faced much discrimination, bigotry, harassment, and more; both from their own family and strangers. As a transman who is also intersex, this is very important to me, and I will not censor this part of her, nor will I allow any form of fetishism.

  002   I am not someone from SA/SEA/India and do not speak Hindi nor any of the other many beautiful languages within said area/country, however I do try to take care of my portrayal of Osi'ra through means of research and learning from people who do have said background(s) and/or do hail from those regions. If I say anything incorrectly, or something about Osi'ra is off when it comes to a cultural aspect, please do not hesitate to let me know. Normally, this sight can be rather haunting or even frightening to most, but in reality it exudes a sense of wisdom, spirituality, and majesty. Beneath their mask, however, are two milky pink irises.Gold adorns his body, complimenting his tattooed skin and decorating his pale hair. Biography

Osi'ra was born and raised in Radz-At-Han, Thavnair. He belonged to a very, VERY large family, one with eight other siblings, which consisted of two older sisters, four older brothers, and two younger sisters. Despite being Keepers, they have never considered themselves traditional. Their family has stayed together for the most part, including the boys. The boys and Osi'ra remained with their sisters and their mother to provide for them; though, there was hardly any providing anyway, as their family was well-off. Thus, they worked moreso to keep themselves productive and useful.Eventually, once things seemed to be appearing tense at home with the Garlean empire, the Pumdhagus left Thavnair and traveled to Thanalan, where they would make their new home. Upon arrival, mother Osi was quick to become an influential power in Ul'dah with her family’s riches, generational skills, as well as their overall knowledge regarding bureaucracy and economics. Their family is full of artisans, professionals, and entertainers, and they were quick to put all of these talents to use. Thanks to all of this, she has become a political figure; but, certainly not one nearly as large or authoritative as those in the syndicate of Ul'dah.

Unfortunately, Osi'ra and many of her siblings felt rather out-of-place in Ul'dah, feeling discomfort and even loathing towards the hierarchy, caste system, and how things were ran as a whole. How the poor were treated like dirt, how immigrants and refugees of low-status were tossed away and barely given any help. Because of this, Osi'ra and Osi'a, their eldest brother, spoke out often and tried to fight against this system, yet were punished in result by their mother.One eve, Osi'a’s life was taken. He was murdered, and Osi'ra believes it was an act done by monetarists who wanted to silence them. As a result, Osi'ra left Ul'dah with all of his belongings and traveled through Thanalan, having purchased land in the South near the Forgotten Springs and built his very own library there. She misses her brother greatly, as well as the rest of her family, but she refuses to ever see them again. Not because he feels they betrayed him, but because he is afraid of them getting into danger if he was to stick around, and partly due to the resentment he feels towards his mother and her lack of action or concern.

These days, Osi'ra remains outside of Ul'dah and bounces between Kugane, his employer's Free Company estate, the one they have provided him, or his library. Occasionally he will make visits to Ul'dah in disguise as a Keeper named Orah Raiamshali to keep her identity secured, purchasing whatever goods she requires before going back into hiding. Hiding, because she does not want to get discovered by the Brass Blades in Ul'dah, nor be found by her hunter; a villainous person who incites pain for entertainment, and is the reason why Osi'ra's vision was taken. Having fought back, this earned Osi'ra their attention and ire, as they then vowed to her that they would find her and be her death.Initially, Osi'ra was absolutely devastated over the loss of his vision, as he once believed that due to his loss of sight, Menphina no longer wished to commune with him. He has eventually learned to live with the fact he will never see the stars again, but he still feels as though Menphina spurns him and refuses to speak to him due to his disability.Even so, with the loss of seeing as most do, he has gained the ability of aethersight. Rather, he's always had this ability, yet he was unable to use it prior to now. He certainly cannot see the way most do, and still requires an assistive device or person to navigate the streets, but he is able to at least tell when something with aether is before him.

From being fed with a silver spoon to feeding herself from a wooden one, Osi'ra has learned the hard way about the life outside of the comforts of her family's riches. The reality of living is much more difficult than he expected after being so used to costly comforts and lavish lifestyles. They do still have lined coffers set aside to live comfortably, but they have no intention of siphoning all of their funds for petty vices. Instead, she focuses on work, whether through her alchemy, healing abilities, or delegate experience, in order to keep herself afloat. More often than not, she visits Kugane and works as a representative at the Thavnairian Consulate, but when she's not there, she's in Thanalan working at "The Sun's Respite", the main hub of the Free Company she works for.
